This page explains who you pay when you buy Swotly credits, what you get, and how refunds work. It sits alongside our Terms and Privacy Policy.

Buy credits

Who you are paying

Swotly is run by Swotly, based in the United Kingdom. When you buy credits, your contract is with Swotly. You can reach us at any time at alexlazar2023@yahoo.com.

What you are buying

Credits are a one-off purchase, never a subscription. You pay once and the credits are yours until you use them.

• Cram: 20 credits for £2.99
• Exam season: 60 credits for £5.99
• Whole year: 200 credits for £12.99

A quiz or a flashcard deck costs 1 credit. An exam question with marking costs 2 credits, and re-marking an answer costs 1. Credits never expire and have no cash value.

How payment works

• Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go straight into Stripe's secure payment form, so we never see or store them.
• Stripe calculates and collects any tax due on your purchase, and may appear on your bank statement as the payment reference.
• Once Stripe confirms your payment, the credits are added to your balance automatically, usually within seconds.
• If a payment goes through but your credits do not appear, email alexlazar2023@yahoo.com and we will sort it out.

Refunds

• If a generation fails after you spend credits, those credits are refunded to your balance automatically.
• Unused purchased credits are refundable on request within 14 days of purchase. Email alexlazar2023@yahoo.com from the address on your account.
• Credits that have been spent cannot be refunded.
